Over 500 invited guests rocked up to the Cooroy Butter Factory at friday 17 september 2004 for the opening of the 8th Contemporary Furniture Exhibition. It was a great turnout, and guests were delighted with beautiful pieces of furniture on exhibit and for sale.
The organiser, Sandy Bradley said 'on our doorstep lies a wealth of dedicated furniture makers and designers and it is important for us all to recognise and acknowledge the increasing quality and craftsmanship that Queensland has to offer and which continues to benchmark high levels of achievement in contemporary furniture'
The exhibition was open for three weeks from 10.00am - 4.00pm with extended viewings on Friday nights until 6.00pm and closed on Sunday 10 October.
