Flood fundraiser for Richard Vaughan

I'm asking on behalf of our server contemporaryfurniture.ORG the wide community to support our member Richard Vaughan in difficult situation afer recent Brisbane flooding. Richard Vaughan was working and teaching from his unit in Brisbane suburb of Summer Park. His workshop was flooded last week to height 2.5 meters. As a furniture maker I know what it means – tools, machinery, material, work in progress and yes even plaster walls – all gone!

As the workshop was not insured against flooding, I can’t imagine how devastating this must be for Richard as this is his only income. Most of us are unable to participate to join team of friends and help to clean up in person. Giving and collecting money is the least we can do from our computers right now.

Every cent send will go to Richard directly. Thank YOU for using this opportunity and participate to help Richard Vaughan
